Seems No End to India’s War-Craze yet
Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, made a startling revelation on 7th of April (Sunday) that Delhi was planning more military action against Pakistan in the third week of April and called on the international community to reprimand India for its irresponsible conduct.
India’s war-crazed seems no end. In fact, the political leadership in India is in the hands of extremists, and they can go to any extent. Generally, Election in India is Pakistan centric. Any political party expresses more anti-Pakistan sentiments or more hate against Pakistan, may get more public sympathy and win the election. Moderate, and secular political parties have gone in the back burners for last couples of years. Extremists wanted to turn India into a Hindu state, where all non-Hindus have to turn into Hinduism or leave India. It is not limited to Muslims only. All minorities, including Christians, Sikhs, and other religions are facing similar challenges. However, Muslims as the biggest minority in India are facing more vulnerable.
BJP is a coalition of many small extremist Hindu parties and is in power for decades. They have been promoting hate, extremism, intolerance, and violence against minorities in a systematic way. Starting from educational institutes, where they hire extremist teachers to promote violence and hate. Media is full of such extremists and full-time engaged in promoting intolerance and hate. Government Machinery, including Police, Judiciary and District administration is biased. Armed Forces are extensively used against minorities. The whole society is turning into an extremist and intolerant society.
India, before going to elections, always engineer some incidents like “Pulwama” to gain public sympathy and to achieve their desired results. But this time, elections have become more lethal and dangerous. India engineered “Pulwama” on 14 February and started bashing Pakistan just within hours without going to an investigation or collecting any pieces of evidence. India violated Pakistan’s sovereignty and sent its air force on 26 February into Pakistani territory. Which was repulsed immediately by Pakistan air force? On 27 February, again, Indian Air Force violated Pakistani aerospace and two of its Mig-21 were shot down. One of Indian Air Force Pilot was arrested alive. But soon released in a goodwill gesture by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. On 2nd of March, Indian Sub-marine was detected in Pakistani territory, which was also forced to leave Pakistani waters.
This humiliating defeat, resulted, Modi’s graph of popularity dropped down sharply. His policies turned counter-productive and could not achieve the desired result. Contrarily, Pakistan’s image rose up as mature, and peace-loving nation. Prime Minister Imran Khan, got recognition as a visionary, sensible and responsible leader.
Under this scenario, the anxiety of India is understandable. As Foreign Minister of Pakistan informed that there is reliable intelligence that India is devising a new plan. He said "I am speaking responsibly, I hold a position of responsibility, and I know the words I utter will be picked up by the international media," "Preparations are being made, and there are chances of another attack against Pakistan. According to our information, the action could be taken between 16-20, April 2019.” "A new mishap could be staged in Indian-occupied Kashmir, just like the “Pulwama”. And its purpose will be to justify their [India's] offensive against Pakistan and to increase diplomatic pressure against Islamabad. "If it happens, you can imagine the impact of the occurrence on the peace and stability of the region."
He said that Pakistan has already briefed the United Nations Security Council's P5 [permanent five member countries] over the issue and stated Pakistan's apprehensions. "We want the international community to take notice of this irresponsible behavior and reprimand them [India] for taking this route," he said. Qureshi also criticized the global community for remaining silent over Indian aggression against Pakistan on Feb 26. He said that international powers did not reprimand India despite blatant violation of international laws on the part of India due to geopolitics. "The international community, given the sensitivity of this flashpoint, should not remain silent," he stated, adding that the global community should and would have to play their role in this regard.
It is to emphasize that India and Pakistan both are nuclear states and both have enough weapons to destroy each other completely. If the International community, will not act immediately, there are chances of full-scale war and maybe nuclear war. It will not be limited war, but may involve many other countries of the region and will have a global impact. India and Pakistan and other nations in these regions are highly densely populated areas, and the war may be a big disaster for Humanity.
It is appealed to the UN, Security Council and all International community and all individuals with human conscious, to act immediately to clear the clouds of big human disaster.
