Compromise between the government and Venezuelan opposition

After Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced the decision to release several opposition leaders from detention,  liberals involved in the talks stated the decision to suspend the unconstitutional impeachment and move postpone the march, scheduled for 3 November.

It is emphasized that the Liberals decisions were made at the request of Cardinal Jorge Urosa, the Vatican's representative at the talks.

In addition, it is known that the opposition leaders met with the representative of the United States Department of State Thomas Shannon.

Meanwhile, the next round of negotiations is scheduled for November 11.
