UN adopts anti-Russian resolution

Wednesday, 16 November, 2016 - 10:30

Following the Court of Justice in Hague, which blamed Russia of participating in the internal Ukrainian conflict, the UN adopted an anti-Russian resolution proposed by Ukraine, requiring Russia to allow international observers to Crimea. At the same time, the international delegation, including European countries, are regularly in the Crimea.

However, only 73 countries (among them - the US, UK, Canada and some EU countries) from 121 voted for the resolution containing unverified and untrue information. 76 countries abstained.

Moreover, yesterday Minister of Ukraine for the Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller.
