Turkish citizens voted in the June 24 polls to elect the president and members of parliament. Recep Tayyip Erdogan won an absolute majority 52.5 percent of the vote, while his top rival Muharrem Ince lagged behind at 30.6 percent.

The chiefs of general staff of Russia, Iran and Turkey have agreed on measures to enhance cooperation in the Idlib de-escalation zone. Moreover, the sides considered practical steps to eradicate the rest of ISIS and Jabhat al Nusra in Syria.
